Our principals each have 20+ years of experience with technology companies in marketing, public relations, project management, web design and content development, stemming from the early years of the Internet. Our extended team includes Web designers, developers, copy writers, and link builders -- and our account managers bring it all together for you as a single point of contact. We have a solid, proven track record since 2003, helping clients build their online presence, grow their website traffic and conversions, and improve their Internet marketing ROI. Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization are relatively new fields, and like many activities in the leading edge territory of the Web, they are sometimes associated with spamming techniques, outsized promises and expectations, and other tactics that have been labeled as questionable or "black hat" in industry parlance. We resoundingly reject such approaches. Denis Lavoie

Denis formed Sound Web Solutions in 2003 after a 20-year career managing innovative software and Web development projects at leading-edge companies like Lotus Development, Egghead Software, Microsoft Corporation, and The Cobalt Group. Denis enjoys working closely with valued clients to analyze their business, identify needs and opportunities, and develop Internet Marketing strategies that will lower costs, increase revenues, or otherwise grow their business. Using only ethical, cost-effective and search engine-friendly methods that deliver a clear Return On Investment (ROI), Denis is able to turn a client's website into a working solution for their business. Denis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Information Systems from Boston University.

 
Cindy Lavoie

Cindy Lavoie

Cindy joined the company in early 2009, following a 20-year career in marketing and public relations, most recently as Senior VP on the Microsoft account at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, a technology-focused public relations firm. She has also held positions as Director of Marketing for a technology startup, Product Manager at Lotus Development, and instructor of an Entrepreneurial Marketing class at University of Washington Business School. Cindy heads the Search Engine Optimization side of the company, directing our content development, optimization, and link building services. Cindy holds a BA degree in English from Princeton University and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management. She has served in leadership roles for her local UCC church and school PTSA, and is an active volunteer in several local non-profit organizations.
